Tri Tip Steak from the BBQ


Delicious and tender Tri Tip Steak from the BBQ for meat fans



INGREDIENTS

bottle Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz

garlic cloves, crushed

2 tbsp

black pepper, cracked

1/8

cup soy sauc

2 tbsp

red wine vinegar

1

onion, chopped

2

cups salad oil

3 tbsp

salt

5

bay leaves

1

dried oregano

1

dried basil

Tri Tip Steak

 

 


PREPARATION

Mix all the ingredients (without the meat) to a nice marinade. Pour the marinade into a plastic bag, add the meat, and seal the bag. Marinate the Tri Tip Steak for at least 5 days (or up to 1 week) in the fridge.

Clean the meat from the marinade. Barbecue the Tri Tip Steak on the grill on both sides just as you like it best.

Our wine suggestion:
Drink the same wine with the Steak as you used for the marinade.
